Enhanced Banking Experience Comes To Feilding With Completion Of Branch Upgrade
Feilding customers can now enjoy an improved banking experience following a comprehensive upgrade of the BNZ branch at 29 Manchester Square, cementing the bank's more than 140 year commitment to the region.
BNZ General Manager Branch, Claire McKinnon, says the branch improvement continues BNZ’s recent investment across the region.
“In June we reopened our refurbished Plaza branch in Palmerston North, and now we’re delighted to welcome Feilding customers back to their upgraded local branch. We’d like to thank our customers for their patience while the work was underway, and we hope they’re as delighted with the result as we are.
The new branch design introduces a community space, a concierge welcome hub in the centre of the branch to greet and assist customers, clear wayfinding, a 24/7 smart ATM lobby, and new meeting rooms providing a comfortable and professional setting for customer conversations.
“This upgrade drew on the same New Zealand craftmanship, and sustainable design showcased in Palmerston North, with local trades, manufacturers and designers all playing a part,” says McKinnon.
“Key features include innovative 3D printed recycled plastic surfaces, sustainably sourced fabrics, and New Zealand wool carpet – all part of our commitment to supporting Kiwi businesses.
“These refurbishments show our commitment to ensuring agri, business and personal banking customers across the Mighty Manawatū have access to modern, comfortable spaces for their banking – whether that’s everyday transactions or more in-depth financial conversations with our team,” she says.
Feilding holds a special place in BNZ’s story. The branch first opened its doors in 1881 on Fergusson Street, before moving to larger premises in 1907 and again in the 1960s.
“BNZ has been part of Feilding’s history for more than 140 years, and we’re proud to invest in its future,” McKinnon says.
“This work is part of a wider programme to modernise branches across the country, but for us it’s also about creating spaces that feel right for the communities we serve.”
The BNZ Feilding branch is located at 29 Manchester Square and operates Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4pm.
