
Former Lower Hutt Mayor Campbell Barry has joined leading strategic advisory firm Agite Consulting Limited, taking on the role of Head of Local Government and Partnerships Practice.
As Mayor for two terms, Campbell led one of New Zealand’s major councils through a period of significant growth and change.
With 15 years’ total in local government, including time as Vice President of Local Government New Zealand, he brings extensive knowledge and experience from the sector.
He is well known for building strong partnerships across central and local government, iwi, business, and community sectors to deliver meaningful outcomes for people and place.
His appointment comes at a time of significant change across New Zealand’s local government sector.
