AIA NZ Appoints Neil Marolia As Head Of Brand & Marketing

AIA NZ is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Marolia as Head of Brand & Marketing, effective 9 January 2026.
Alex Kühnast, AIA NZ Chief Product & Marketing Officer, says he is delighted to welcome Neil to the team.
“Neil brings a unique mix of strategic thinking, creativity and both New Zealand and global brand experience. His track record in transforming brand engagement and leading high performing teams will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen our brand presence and improve outcomes for our customers, advisers and communities.”
Neil will lead AIA NZ’s brand and marketing strategy, driving creativity, innovation and alignment with AIA’s Purpose to help New Zealanders live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
He joins AIA NZ from Fidelity Life, where he spent five years, most recently as Head of Marketing & Engagement and leading initiatives across brand, marketing, voice of customer and events. He also spent seven years at American Express in Global Advertising and Brand Management, shaping international brand strategy across 150 markets and leading global campaigns for platforms such as the Platinum Card and Shop Small.
