Monthly arrivals – overseas visitors
Overseas visitor arrivals were 385,400 in January 2026, an increase of 15,200 from January 2025. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- Australia (up 10,700)
- United Kingdom (up 3,700)
- United States (up 2,600)
- Germany (up 1,900)
- China (down 10,800)
- Korea (down 2,000).
