Statement from Rosanne Meo,
Chairman TVNZ
TVNZ Chairman, Rosanne Meo, has
confirmed that the Board is meeting with the Minister of
Broadcasting next week to discuss a number of issues
including the Hawkesby arbitration and appeal.
“I am also aware that the Prime Minister has raised issues of accountability and I have reiterated our willingness to discuss these issues with her at her convenience.”
Rosanne Meo says, “Next week’s meeting is also, of course, much broader than the Hawkesby issue. It will be the first time for the Board and executive to discuss the public interest issues for TVNZ which have been articulated by the new government and to which we are keen to contribute.”
