Brash supports quality education for all
National Leader Don Brash is standing by his commitment to excellence in education and a first class education for all.
“It’s clear that the education system is in crisis when people see it is failing their children and take extreme measures to correct it,” he says.
“I certainly do not condone children being removed from the education system, but the concerns raised by the Kotahitanga Trust are valid and must be addressed.
“I believe National’s education policy, announced last week, will address the concerns raised by the trust, and other groups concerned for their children’s futures.
“Labour has given up on these children because they are poor and brown. National will ensure all children receive a quality education, irrespective of race, background or location.
“David Benson-Pope should wake from his slumber and address the crisis in our education system,” says Dr Brash.
