Copeland proxy to National
Independent MP Gordon Copeland today advised that he has concluded arrangements which will authorise National to exercise his proxy vote for the term of this Parliament.
"I want to take this opportunity also to announce that Future New Zealand, the new party which I am co-leading with former MP Larry Baldock, will not work with, or be part of, a Labour-led government following the 2008 elections," said Mr Copeland.
Mr Copeland also advised that Labour will continue to hold his proxy for confidence and supply votes for the term of this Parliament.
