Dunne mourns philanthropist's death
UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne today mourned
the death of philanthropist Sir Roy McKenzie who has died,
at the age of 84.
"Sir Roy was an outstanding New Zealander who epitomised the spirit of the community and voluntary sector, which contributes so much to the betterment of New Zealand society.
"The Trust he led, set up in 1940, still makes grants amounting to more than $55 million a year.
"Sir Roy's legacy is one of selfless commitment to New Zealand and I extend all my sympathies to Sir Roy's family on this sad occasion," said Mr Dunne.
