Statement From TVNZ Chairman
The Chairman of TVNZ, Ross Armstrong, today clarified comments attributed to him in this morning's Christchurch Press concerning a review of TVNZ's news and current affairs programmes.
Mr Armstrong said all his comments were made in the context of the overall review of TVNZ that will be required to develop a Charter for the company.
"News and Current Affairs will not be singled out specifically as they were in this morning’s Christchurch Press article. Rather the point I was making was that News and Current Affairs will form one part of the total review of all the objectives of TVNZ.”
