Electoral Commission registers another political party
The Electoral Commission today announced it had registered another political party—bringing the number of registered political parties to 19.
The latest party to be registered is known as Destiny New Zealand. It has also had a party logo approved.
In another move, the Commission cancelled at each parties’ request the registration of the United New Zealand Party and Future New Zealand. Both continue as component parties of United Future New Zealand.
The
Commission has also registered a substitute logo for ACT New
Zealand.
