Raelians To Demonstrate At Korean Embassies

Raelians To Demonstrate In Front Of Korean Embassies Worldwide

On August 6th, anniversary of the explosion of the first atomic bomb over Hiroshima, Raelians will celebrate the New Year and will demonstrate in front of all the Korean embassies worldwide, following the refusal of the Korean government to grant

His Holiness RAEL entry into Korea this past August 2nd. The reasons given by the Korean government were that His Holiness RAEL might cause public disorder and hurt Korean traditions in terms of ethics by giving Korea a bad image because of His support for human cloning.

His Holiness RAEL stated during the first Internet press conference that was held yesterday before many Korean journalists: "To refuse to let me in the country will cause more public disorder than if I was allowed in... Denying me the right to enter this country will give Korea a bad image and I will make sure that this bad image of the Korean government is spread all over the world through demonstrations that will be organized worldwide by the 60,000 members of my organization."

His Holiness RAEL added: "No government will be able to close their borders to my ideas and, thanks to technology, I was able to hold a press conference yesterday and I will hold a public conference this Thursday August 7th during which I will be able to speak to Koreans who are interested in our organization. Moreover, since my reason for being in Korea was to teach sensual meditation seminars that are held each year in Asia, I will intervene directly via the Internet to speak to Raelians."

His Holiness RAEL demands that apologies be made by the Korean government and wishes to receive an official invitation to Korea to discuss with the members of the government, as was done by the President of Congo 2 years ago when His Holiness RAEL was officially invited there to speak with him. It is clear that this action by the Korean government is a blatant discrimination act towards Raelians and their religious leader to prevent them from spreading their ideology.
