Media Advisory From: Wellington Anti-GE Action Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2004

Members of Wellington Anti-GE Action will deliver a strong message to the Food Standards Authority of Australia and New Zealand in opposition to the application for GE wheat.

Members of the media are invited to to accompany the activists. Meeting time is 10:40 at Midland Park on Lambton Quay or at the entrance to the Authority, 108 The Terrace at 10:55

'GE Wheat has not been approved for use anywhere in the world. Monsanto, the company that has lodged the application, is trying contaminate our daily bread with Round-up resistant ingredients.'
