Prince of Wales to marry
The Monarchist League of New Zealand Inc.
11th February 2005
We welcome the announcement of the wedding of the Prince of Wales to Camilla Parker-Bowles in April. Her Majesty The Queen has stated that "The Duke of Edinburgh and I are very happy that The Prince of Wales and Mrs Parker Bowles are to marry. We have given them our warmest good wishes for their future together".
The wedding will be a largely private occasion for family and friends. It will comprise a civil ceremony in Windsor Castle. There will subsequently be a service of prayer and dedication in St George's Chapel at which the Archbishop of Canterbury will preside.
Mrs Parker-Bowles will use the title HRH The Duchess of Cornwall after marriage. It is intended that Mrs Parker Bowles should use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.
We wish to convey our best wishes to the couple and to the rest of the Royal Family.
