Cullen's Super-socialistic Budget is Atrocious

"If you spend up hard enough be sure you'll get some voters." says Libertarianz Finance Spokesman Nik Haden, echoing that famous Nanny Mary Poppins.

"Unsurprisingly, this government has shown its true colours - deep nannying red," he adds. "Four billion more in bribes to ensure the government's re-election, people being paid to save (buy the man a dictionary), and some tiny crumbs of tax cuts that don't kick in for years.

"Once again, we see the government taking more control of the economy, taking more control of people's lives, and ultimately the new spending means more coming out of people's wallets.

"Not only is Cullen promising to fritter away his record surplus but he's promising to push the government into deficit within two years. This government is utterly irresponsible with money. The colossal wastage of taxpayers' hard-earned cash illustrates once again that the government can't be trusted.

Haden's advice to Cullen is, "Cut back your grandiose power-trip and return the money to the tax-victims you stole it from."
