Fire Service Chief Executive reappointed

New Zealand Fire Service Commission chairperson Dame Margaret Bazley announced today that the commission had reappointed Mike Hall to the position of Chief Executive and National Commander of the New Zealand Fire Service.
Dame Margaret said: “The commission is confident that Mike has the experience and ability to lead the New Zealand Fire Service through the challenges it will face in the next few years.
“The decision to reappoint Mike reflects the commission’s confidence in him and we are very pleased he has accepted reappointment.”
Mike Hall’s new term as chief executive and national commander begins in May 2006.
