Work Rights, Our Right!
On April 23, New Zealand workers advised Wayne
Mapp and the National Party that they were on a 90-day
warning over their no-rights-at-work bill.
That warning period expires on July 20, when a mass protest rally will be held outside Parliament.
Tomorrow, with just one month to run in the warning period, the EPMU and other unions will once again explain to supporters of the bill why it will be bad for New Zealand workers, New Zealand business and New Zealand society.
More than 100 workers, union leaders and others will gather at the EPMU’s Wellington office tomorrow to outline the shape of the campaign to come.
