Acting Chief Executive Department of Labour
The State Services Commissioner, Mark Prebble, today announced that Graham Fortune has agreed to act as Chief Executive and Secretary of Labour.
Graham Fortune was previously the Secretary of Defence, a position from which he retired in December 2006.
Graham Fortune will take up the acting position on 22 May 2007, and will remain in the role until a permanent chief executive is appointed.
The State Services Commission has the recruitment process for a permanent chief executive appointment underway.
