Destiny New Zealand Political Future To Be Announced
Richard Lewis, Leader of the Destiny New Zealand Party, will join with Bishop Brian Tamaki to make a major announcement regarding the future of the Party.
New Zealand's only registered Christian political party, Destiny New Zealand launched in July 2003 and campaigned on traditional family values at the 2005 General Election.
While the party did not achieve representation in 2005, it stood candidates in electorates nationwide, including all seven Maori seats and was the highest polling party outside of Parliament. In May and June the party polled ahead of United Future, Act and the Progressive Party. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=280&objectid=10447691&pnum=2
