Saunders Unsworth appointment
The Hon Roger Sowry will be joining the Wellington based government relations firm Saunders Unsworth, as a consultant early in the New Year.
Roger Sowry is presently Chief Executive of Arthritis New Zealand. He was a member of Parliament from 1990 to 2005, first representing the electorate of Kapiti and later as a list MP. He was a Cabinet Minister from 1996 through to the 1999 election, holding various portfolios including Social Services. He was Chief Whip in the early 1990s and later became Leader of the House.
