The New Zealand Fire Service have released the names of the Hamilton based firefighters injured in the Tamahere cool store fire on Saturday that claimed the life of Senior Station Officer, Derek Lovell.
* Merv Neil - Middlemore Hospital - Burns Unit.
* Dennis Wells - Waikato Hospital - High Dependency Unit.
* Adrian Brown - Waikato Hospital - High Dependency Unit.
* Dave Beanland - Waikato Hospital - open ward.
* Alvan Walker - Waikato Hospital - High Dependency Unit.
* Brian Halford - Waikato Hospital - Intensive Care Unit.
* Cameron Gryllis - discharged from Waikato Hospital.
Fire Service staff are at both Waikato and Middlemore Hospitals providing support to the injured personnel and their families.
National Commander, Mike Hall and the Hon Rick Barker have been in Hamilton since this morning to meet with the firefighters and families of those personnel involved in the incident.
More detail will be provided as information on the status of the injured firefighters comes to hand.
