13 June 08. The Family Party is making light of its second You-tube political advertisement titled ‘the family,’ which unlike Labour’s recent advert that depicts an American family, actually features three generations of deputy leader Paul Adams’ family: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOeu6ewISA8
“I like the idea that the Family Party is prepared to front up for our advertising as opposed to Labour’s approach of importing families from America for theirs. The other irony is the fact that we’re paying for our own advertising whereas the taxpayer is paying for Labour’s!” says Paul Adams.
It is the second advertisement coming after ‘the gamble,’ which was launched at the Family Party conference in Mangere three weeks ago and has already amassed over 7,000 You-tube viewings, making it by far New Zealand’s most watched online political advertisement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYtbTGnwjCI
