Kudos for Kiwi Party's Drug Policy

The Kiwi Party's Law and Order Policy includes a stance on illicit Drugs which is welcomed by Fight Against P.

Labour's Harm Minimisation Policy has resulted in the fiasco we face today, whereby drug users are able to use illicit drugs without fear of apprehension by Police – in fact are told HOW to use them by tax payer funded publications.

Intervention at family request and the provision of adequate, affordable and immediately available rehabilitation facilities are the only way the escalation of this social disease will be halted.

The proposed establishment of Night Courts for certain offences including mis-use of drugs would dispense appropriate justice within hours of apprehension, instead of being added to the backlog clogging up our Courts.

The implementation of these Policies is vital if NZ is to make any inroads into the war on illicit drugs. The result of this would see a drastic reduction of taxpayer money needing to be spent on a trouble-making minority, and more funds available for Health and Education which would benefit the majority of Nzers who are law-abiding citizens.
