Newspaper publishing has taken a new direction with the launch this weekend of TGIF Edition, a 20 page “paperless” newspaper being emailed to thousands of readers…
Publisher Ian Wishart says the digital newspaper is fully interactive with embedded video and rich media links, combining the flexibility of online publishing with the design strengths of traditional print media.
“We think this is where print media will increasingly be heading in the future – using push technology to get past the clutter and distraction of the general internet to provide clients with a content package that covers all the bases, but which uses the PDF as an information ‘springboard’ so readers can link through to other options, including other media.”
