Election Night Coverage For The BoP Region

Election Night Coverage For The Bay Of Plenty Region.

Local award winning Eastern Bay Of Plenty radio station 1XX will have all of the Bay Of Plenty election results covered live on election night. The 1XX Regional News team – News Editor Sarah Holmes and journalist Juliette Sivertsen will have results from each of the 4 electorates within 1XX’s coverage area – East Coast, Bay Of Plenty, Rotorua (covering Kawerau &Murupara/Galatea) and the Maori seat of Waiariki. The station’s network news service from Auckland will provide results from the rest of the country within news bulletins each hour.

The 1XX Regional News team will also be chatting to candidates from the 4 electorates throughout the night for reactions during the vote count.

Radio 1XX’s election night coverage starts at 7pm on Saturday night 8th November and will go through until final results have been confirmed which may go through until 1am Sunday morning. Results will also be posted on the 1XX website.

1XX’s election night coverage can be heard through the Eastern Bay Of Plenty on 90.5FM & 1242AM, on 93.0FM at Ohope Beach and also through 1XX’s sister station in Te Puke – 92.9 Kiwi FM. The coverage will also be streamed online through the 1XX website for those outside the Bay Of Plenty region – www.1xx.co.nz .
