Wood Hopes To Come Second In Humour Stakes
Mount Albert aspirant Jackson James Wood today admitted that Melissa Lee may have one over him.
Following Lee's remarks that she did not expect to win the election and instead hoped to come second, so soon after her comments regarding South Aucklanders, Wood has had to concede that possibly the best he could hope for would be to be the second funniest candidate in the election.
"Melissa Lee is the gift that keeps on giving, and I'm terribly upset that I can't honestly hope to win in the humour stakes - her ability to deliver absurd comments totally deadpan dwarfs mine."
Wood however refused to admit any possibility of losing the election.
