The News That Didn't Make The News

Updates on the New Website and Movie

After months of hard work by our web masters, and gracious donations from many of you, we invite you to visit our newly rebuilt website! The Project Censored site is now easier to navigate and more visually appealing. It takes our online presence to the next level, with additional user-friendly features to come. You’ll find us at the same URL, http://www.projectcensored.org.

We thank everyone who helped us to upgrade the website by making a donation during our summer fund drive and if you are not already a supporting member you can become one here and receive a free Project Censored Top 25 Censored Stories book. Because of the generous support of people like you, we met our goal of raising $15,000, which covered not only the costs of the website redesign, but also helped us to finish our forthcoming book, Censored 2014: Fearless Speech in Fateful Times. Censored 2014 will hit the shelves of an independent bookseller near you on October 1, 2013. In the meantime, you can pre-order the book now and we will ship you an advance copy in early September.

Drop us a line, nominate a candidate censored news story, or find out how to bring someone from the Project Censored crew to your community! We are happy to give presentations or participate on discussion panels; we offer media literacy workshops for students and community members; or invite us to screen the new, award-winning documentary, "Project Censored—The Movie: Ending the Reign of Junk Food News." Contact us for more details and you can pre-order the film here

We need monthly support and other donations to continue our work to expose, oppose and overcome news censorship and the current war on whistleblowers, truth tellers, and independent journalists. Please consider making a donation in support of our efforts to defend free speech and to champion a truly free press. And, keep tabs on our website for the Validated Independent News stories that we are currently researching, news about screenings of “Project Censored--The Movie,” and the release of Censored 2014: Fearless Speech in Fateful Times.

Sincerely,

The Project Censored Team
