ALCP Election Conference this Weekend
ALCP Election Conference this Weekend
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party (ALCP) will hold its election year conference over the weekend in Dunedin.
Leader Julian Crawford will address the party faithful about the upcoming election campaign and the unique opportunity ALCP presents to voters.
The party will also unveil its candidates and new policy principles over the weekend.
"We are focused on the cannabis and hemp issues but for any other policy we assess it according to core principles."
"These are not new ALCP policies but rather principles to determine whether ALCP would support other partys' policies."
Mr Crawford said ALCP was still the only party in New Zealand promoting full legalisation, regulation and taxation of cannabis.
The media are invited to attend the conference at 66 David St, Caversham, Dunedin. Between 10am on Saturday August 9 and 4pm on Sunday August 10.
