The New World Generation Project
The New World Generation Project
A visionary project, to create a magical natural & built “new world generation” environment in New Zealand, was recently launched in Wellington. This unique design & 24/7 event concept, which has been developed by Malcolm Overton, will feature a spiral shaped venue called the “Fenix”. This domed, multi purpose stadium, will primarily function as a “new world generator”. This functional, kinetic work of art will host a playful 24/7, live/online, “new world generation experience”. One purpose of this “greatest show in the universe” experience will be to document & globally share, peoples new world shaping ideas & dreams. To achieve this, participants will be required to take a voyage in a golden egg shaped capsule from the centre of the venue, to the circular viewing platform at the apex of the spiral dome. The viewing platform will be monitored 24/7 by cameras connected to the internet. So when voyagers step forth from the capsule, which will be transformed into an 8 petalled flower en route, they’ll be encouraged to share their dreams for a better world with everyone on our planet. Another aspect of the “new world generation experience”, will be to hold regular fun & celebratory events in & around the Fenix in the hope that; on such an occasion a mighty wizard will emerge from the golden egg capsule, illuminate the viewing platform with his/her presence, & cast a transmutational spell on the internet that will turn today’s world upside down, thereby paving the way for the realisation of our new world dreams. Getting this project off the ground will firstly involve, developing the design concept in much more detail. This will be a costly process, which is why we’ve recently launched a “new world generator” fundraising page on “give a little”.
