Palino welcomes Stephen Berry’s Endorsement
Auckland Mayoral Candidate John Palino welcomes the endorsement of Affordable Auckland’s Stephen Berry for the up coming mayoral election.
“I am grateful for Stephen Berry’s endorsement, and his faith in the policy platform I am standing on. I’ve had a number of long discussions with Stephen and so have my team. We found a lot of common ground on setting firm targets for rates reductions and increasing land supply to solve Auckland’s housing affordability issues” says Palino.
“I am especially pleased that Mr Berry’s announcement shows that I am building a campaign and a campaign team that embraces others and their ideas. Auckland needs a mayor who can work with people from across the political spectrum to deliver lower rates and affordable housing.”
Stephen Berry ran on the Affordable Auckland ticket in the 2013 election, and won 13,650 votes .
