Public Issues of the Methodist Church celebrates Helen Kelly’s magnificent leadership for justice.
Helen’s sustained advocacy for the interests of working people, those in vulnerable and exploited situations, and her attentiveness to matters of justice at local and global scales is testimony to her courage, endurance and inspiring human spirit.
We give thanks for her life and work, and deeply mourn her passing. We join with all who grieve for her, and may she rest in peace in the sure knowledge of her life of generous dedication to equity, safety and the wellbeing of all people, especially relating to employment and work conditions.
