BearingPoint Expands its PeopleSoft Capabilities

To meet the increasing demand for PeopleSoft expertise for implementation projects, BearingPoint is growing its New Zealand PeopleSoft practice and is actively recruiting consultants.

According to Suri Bartlett, a Managing Director of BearingPoint, who is responsible for leading the alliance with PeopleSoft in New Zealand, several recently signed deals have meant a growing workload for their implementation team.

“We are working with PeopleSoft on a number of significant sites in New Zealand and Australia,” says Bartlett. “As multiple PeopleSoft customers proceed to implementation phase we’re looking to expand our team of consultants to manage and facilitate the projects in the pipeline.

“We have a strong alliance with PeopleSoft. The strength of their applications combined with a good working relationship between the two organisations has allowed us to grow our PeopleSoft consulting business.

“BearingPoint has completed several hundred PeopleSoft implementations worldwide. We’re very pleased to be working together to share our industry skills, business knowledge, project management and change management skills to help our clients fully leverage their PeopleSoft applications and maximise their return on the PeopleSoft investment,” says Bartlett. “We also have a number of PeopleSoft specific implementation tools to facilitate acceleration of the delivery and the returns on investments.”

Commenting on the expansion, David Webster, Managing Director PeopleSoft Australia and New Zealand says, “PeopleSoft is focussed on assisting our customers to optimise their business processes through real-time applications. It is great to have one of our key alliance partners growing their PeopleSoft consulting division to facilitate these projects. We’re looking forward to working closely with BearingPoint on the increasing number of local implementations.”
