The Sly Trilogy in full HD and Stereoscopic 3D!

Auckland, 3rd December 2010: Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand (SCENZ) welcomes the return of sneaky raccoon Sly Cooper to PlayStation® with the release of The Sly Trilogy on PlayStation®3 (PS3™).

All three PlayStation®2 classics - Sly Raccoon™, Sly 2: Band of Thieves™ and Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves™ - have been remastered in stunning High Definition and packed into one Blu-ray Disc (BD) for great value entertainment that’s sure to be a hit this holiday season

Join the mischievous Sly Cooper as he embarks on a series of adventures with his trusty gang of bandits in a beautiful, richly detailed and animated world that’s been remastered in high definition (HD) for crisp picture quality.

Fully playable in stereoscopic 3D, Sly and his band of loveable rogues can be transported out of your TV and into your living room. And with brand new PlayStation®Move mini-games for your PlayStation Move motion controller, The Sly Trilogy is the ultimate compendium of the Sly series for fans and newcomers alike.

Commenting on the launch, Toby Morrish, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Software Marketing Manager said “The original Sly series on PlayStation 2 was a huge hit with gamers young and old. We’re delighted to bring The Sly Trilogy to PS3 and update the series with HD graphics and full Trophy support, as well as stereoscopic 3D compatibility and PlayStation Move mini-games. Both fans and newcomers to Sly can now experience afresh all the action, fun and humour of this classic series.”

Packed with a combination of stealth, thievery, platform adventure, combat, strategy and exploration – and with new PS3 Trophies to earn – there’s hours of missions to complete across all three adventures:

Sly Raccoon:

Sly and his partners Bentley and Murray are on a mission to recover the stolen pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, a handbook of thievery passed down through the generations of the Cooper family, and stolen when Sly was only a child by a gang known as the Fiendish Five.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves:

This time around, Sly and the gang attempt to recover the scattered pieces of Clockwerk, the evil robotic owl defeated in Sly Raccoon, in a desperate race against the mysterious Klaww gang.

Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves:

The final adventure in the series sees Sly and his gang on a quest to recover the long-lost Cooper family fortune – and after generations of Cooper family thieving, there's bound to be a big pile of loot at the end of their journey!

This is one epic adventure you’re not going to want to miss. It’s time to unleash your mischievous side! The Sly Trilogy for PS3 is in stores now on BD.
