Launching its fifth year of continuous weekly broadcasts, this week’s edition of “In Conversation with Noel Cheer” on Triangle/Stratos Television features Pita Sharples, Minister of Maori Affairs who promotes the Treaty as alive and healthy, but not well understood. A wider and deeper understanding is needed to position the Treaty within the constitutional framework of Aotearoa New Zealand, Dr Sharples says.
