SOE Minister Confirms He Had Briefed PM On TVNZ Negotiations

State Owned Enterprises Minister, Tony Ryall, has confirmed that he advised the Prime Minister earlier this year that the negotiation process was underway between TVNZ and Mr John Hawkesby.

"I conveyed to the Prime Minister that I understood that the negotiation process was underway and a settlement was likely, and I indicated the range of monies likely to be under discussion", concluded Mr Ryall.
