Major Climate Change Gathering

24-26 August, Melbourne

Some of the world's leading experts in climate change policy, carbon trading and investment in low-carbon industries will be arriving in Australia within two weeks to address the 5th Australia-New Zealand Climate Change & Business Conference in Melbourne.

The conference will be held just after the Australian Senate votes on the government's proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS). Both Australian and New Zealand Climate Change Ministers Wong and Smith will be addressing the event, allowing Australian and New Zealand businesses to hear their governments' plans in the run up to the United Nations climate change meeting in Copenhagen in December.
