Changes to Grafton Rd intersection continue
Changes to Grafton Rd intersection continue
Transit New Zealand advises all road users in the Grafton Gully area that until mid September, major services work is being undertaken at the Grafton Road/Stanley Street intersection in Grafton Gully.
All traffic movements including access to the motorway are still possible. There may however be some delays as there will be major changes to lane markings. Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes where possible.
Pedestrians are asked to take care throughout the area and are advised that at times during the work there will be no signalised crossing at the intersection.
Most of the construction work will take place everyday between 7am and 7pm; however some night work may be required.
The changes are necessary to allow for work on sewer and storm-water lines to be undertaken. Temporary cones and barriers will be in place throughout the area.
For more
information regarding the work, visit the project
information centre at the corner of Stanley Street and Alten
Road, phone 0800 ToFreeflow (0800 863 733) or visit the
Transit website www.transit.govt.nz.
