Waikato Expressway Closed Southbound, Ohinewai
The Waikato Expressway is closed southbound, from Te Kauwhata and the Rangiriri on-ramps, following a serious crash in Ohinewai this morning.
Police were called to the crash, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, around 7am.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and the Expressway is expected to remain closed for some time while emergency services work at the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
