Changes at Grafton Rd intersection continue
Changes at Grafton Rd intersection continue
Transit New Zealand advises all road users in Grafton Gully that until the end of September, major services work is being undertaken at the Grafton Road/Stanley Street intersection in Grafton Gully.
All traffic movements, including access to the motorway are being maintained throughout the work. There may however be some delays as major changes are being made to lane markings. Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes where possible.
Pedestrians are reminded to take care throughout the area and are advised that at times during the work there will be no signalised crossing at the intersection.
Most of the construction work is taking place everyday between 7am and 7pm. Some night work may be required at times.
The changes are required to allow for work on sewer and storm-water lines to be undertaken. Temporary cones and barriers are in place throughout the area.
For more information regarding the
work, visit the project information centre at the corner of
Stanley Street and Alten Road, phone 0800 ToFreeflow (0800
863 733) or visit the Transit website www.transit.govt.nz.
