New Tourism Initiative For Manukau
Manukau City Council, in conjunction with Tourism Auckland, is producing a new tourism initiative for the Manukau region – The Official Guide Map of Manukau and the surrounding area.
An opportunity exists for local business to benefit from this new venture by promoting their products and services in the new map.
The map will assist visitors to Manukau and outlying regions by highlighting key visitor attractions, transport networks, accommodation and other points of interest. The map will be Manukau’s core tourism marketing tool and will be used in all promotional activities.
The map will have an initial print run of 100,000 copies and will distributed locally, nationally and internationally over the coming year.
The majority of tourism operators in Manukau and outlying regions have been contacted to advertise their products or services on the map and their reaction to the map initiative has been extremely positive.
It is not too late to advertise your tourism product or service in The Official Guide Map of Manukau – for booking information please contact Vickie Allan, Snr Planner Tourism, Manukau City Council on (09) 262 5294 or email vallan@manukau.govt.nz .
