Manukau City Arts Market
Manukau Square will come alive with the unique sights and sounds of the Pacific next Saturday as the venue for the inaugural Manukau Christmas Arts Market. An array of artwork with a largely Pacific flavour, including some from local artists, will be available for purchase.
Irene Steiner, Economic Development and Promotions Planner for Manukau City Council, is delighted that market is being held in the newly refurbished Manukau Square. “When Council re-designed the Square this is exactly what we had planned; vibrant, colourful events that would bring life to the centre of the City.
“I invite everyone to come along to the Christmas Arts Market, sample the wares on offer and take the opportunity to purchase a unique Christmas gift in a relaxed and festive setting”, says Ms Steiner.
