Esmonde Road eastbound closure this weekend
From 6pm Saturday 10 June and all day Sunday until 5am Monday 12 June, Esmonde Road eastbound from Barry’s Point Road to Burns Avenue will be closed to motorists. The left hand turn from Barry’s Point Road into Esmonde Road will also be closed.
The closure is required to complete a change to the road layout as part of the Esmonde Road Interchange upgrade and Shoal Bay bridge replacement. From Monday morning, eastbound motorists will drive on a new section of the Shoal Bay Bridge.
Motorists are asked to please be aware of the change and reduce their speed.
In the event of bad weather, work may be postponed.
