Indonesian flag to fly on Auckland Harbour Bridge
The flag of Indonesia will fly from Auckland Harbour Bridge tomorrow, Thursday 17 August, in recognition of the Indonesian Independence Day. The flag will be flown from 6:30am until 6:30pm.
Transit considers requests from nations wanting to commemorate their country’s national days. Recently the Republic of Korea, Swiss and Belgian flags have all flown on the bridge.
