Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week's proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).
Sunday 17 December
ESMONDE
RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd - CLOSED -
overnight from 9pm until 5am for drainage works.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time,
the closure will be on Monday 18 - Wednesday 20
December
. As part of this closure the link from
Akoranga Dr to Esmonde Rd will be closed at the same
time
. Motorists are advised to follow the
diversion via Northcote Rd off-ramp

NORTHCOTE RD
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to
Northcote Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for
barrier movements.
. Motorists are advised to
follow the diversion via Onewa Rd or Tristram Ave off-ramp

Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 - CLOSED

for drainage works.

closure will only go ahead if the Esmonde Rd & Tristram Ave
southbound on-ramp closures are not required
Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
