Hibiscus Coast Moves to Kerikeri for One Weekend.

Orewa Rotary has organized an incredible event, the removal of the Hibiscus Coast to Kerikeri for one weekend.

This event is actually the District Rotary Conference which will be held at The Centre in Kerikeri, an incredible complex where 450 decision makers from Auckland to Kaitaia will gather at a success conference to hear Business Leaders, Rotarian Leaders and International Speakers share their ideas on what success and leadership is all about.

The reason the Hibiscus Coast is moving to Kerikeri is because the Orewa Rotary Club is the home of the District Governor of District 9910 and as such organized the Conference.

Realising that there was no venue on the Hibiscus Coast that could accommodate 450 people in a theatre setting with attached venues and meetings they went for the next best which is The Centre in Kerikeri a purpose built Conference / Convention Centre and in doing so had to persuade Hibiscus Coast Businesses to join with the Orewa Rotary Club for the weekend.

Many businesses have come on board and Hibiscus Coast businesses such as Connoisseur Kitchens, Whangaparaoa Dental Centre, Geewiz Seminars, Cashmore Mills, Silverdale Print, Label-it, Baileys Real Estate, Waiwera water, Hopper Devlopments, Webmark world, Colgate Palmolive, Denby catering,Envision Presentations,Future Steel, Dougal the cat Builders,Promo world, Orewa new world,Cowleys Hire, Nature Fresh, Waiwera Thermal Resort, supported by a extensive sponsorship from the Rodney District Council. These businesses and others in the area will be given an opportunity to exhibit at Kerikeri, promote in the Conference bags and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities that are available on the Hibiscus Coast to get in front of investors, business owners and decision makers.

Some of the high profile speakers will include _ The Governor General, Madhav Mohan from India, Angela Berens from Australia, Stuart Batty from Christchurch, Bobbie Brown from the Starship Foundation, Brian Coleman from NSW, speakers from New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Norfolk Island and Of course successful Rotary Business Leaders from around Auckland and the Rodney & Northern Districts.

The benefits to the community of Kerikeri has been recognized by the Far North District Council who have also joined with Rodney to become sponsors as they see an economic benefit of approximately half a million dollars going into their community over the weekend and associated days around it as the 450 business leaders and Rotarians stay in Kerikeri and outlying areas.
