Transit advises of SH2 Petone off-ramp closure
Transit New Zealand will be closing the Petone off-ramp on SH2 for one night while they resurface this section of the road for safety purposes.
Transit Regional Manager Graham Taylor says the closure will be overnight on Sunday, 29 April from 9pm to 5am, weather dependent.
The entire ramp will be closed as this work is carried out. Motorists will need to remain on SH2 through to the Korokoro lights on this one night. The off-ramp will be available again the following morning.
Mr Taylor says if this work has to be deferred due to bad weather, it will be done on the next available night.
Transit apologises for any inconvenience while this important safety work is done.
