Councillors: Hucker should step down

City Vision-Labour Councillors
A meeting of the City Vision-Labour councillors yesterday decided that Cr Bruce Hucker should step down as Deputy Mayor of Auckland City.
In a short statement made today City Vision-Labour councillors said they "have lost confidence in Bruce in his role as Deputy Mayor and have asked him to step aside".
They propose that Cr Vern Walsh take up the position for the remainder of the Council term.
