Taika
Waititi in conversation with filmhead Ant
Timpson
Screenwriter / director Taika Waititi (Two Cars, One Night, Tama Tu, Eagle vs Shark) continues his singular, subversive and glittering career with Eagle vs. Shark, a deliciously tangy, deadpan feature debut. Starring talented local actors Loren Horsley, who collaborated on the screenplay with Waititi, and long-time collaborator Jemaine Clement, Eagle has been described as a romantic and endearing look at life on the geek side.
Come and take advantage of this rare opportunity to hear Taika speak about the transition from writing shorts to feature length scripts, his participation in the renowned Sundance Screenwriters Lab in Utah, and the experience of taking Eagle to festivals and audiences around the globe.
