Kite fun
Fun for kite-lovers is on the way. On 12 October, the sky over Papatoetoe Recreation Ground will be filled with colourful display of kites of different sizes and shapes. Families and friends can bring their kite and kids for this wind-swept event, where gigantic 12m kites will be seen decorating the sky.
Organised by Manukau Parks, the free family event also offers sausage sizzles and plenty of giveaways.
