Seriously Ill patient airlifted from Waikanae
The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a Seriously ill 56yr old female from Waikanae today around 12:00pm 24th Mar 10.
The Helicopter responded with a Wellington Free Ambulance Helicopter Paramedic onboard to the Waikanae.
The Helicopter was able to land at the Waikanae Domain where the local Police and Fire Brigade had set up a landing site where the patient had been transported by Wellington Free Ambulance.
After being transferred from the Ambulance to the Helicopter the Patient was flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where she is being assessed and treated.
