Motor Vehicle Accident On The Paekakariki Hill Rd
The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called this today at 1130 am the 15th Aug 10 to a Motor Vehicle Accident between a Motorcycle and a Vehicle on the Paekakariki Hill Rd on the Paekakariki side of the Hill.
The Helicopter responded with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard.
The Helicopter was able to land at the lookout at the Summit of the Paekakariki Hill Rd.
The Patient was transported to the Helicopter by a Wellington Free Ambulance.
The patient was a 49yr old male from Stokes Valley, he was the rider of the Motorcycle. The patient suffered a Lower Abdominal, Hip and Leg injuries.
The Patient was flowen to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being treated for his injuries.
